Men's Lacrosse Releases 2025 Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn - The Albertus Magnus men's lacrosse team will open its season on Saturday, Feb. 22, as it hosts the Mystics of Mt. Saint Vincent University at 1:00 p.m.  at Celentano Field.

It will be the first of eight home games for the Falcons, as they are scheduled to play an even eight home games and eight away this season.

The Falcons are looking to bounce back from their 3-12 record the previous season. First-year head coach, Chris Bronander, says it is a young and ambitious team.

On Feb. 26, Albertus will play the first of a three-game road-trip, as it travels to Harrison, N.Y., to take on Purchase University. The team then heads to Salem, Mass. to face the Vikings of Salem St, on March 1. The road-trip ends with a matchup against St. Joseph's (L.I.) on March 5.

The Falcons defeated St. Joseph's (L.I.) in a thriller, 11-10, in the 2024 season after a goal from Bailey Kirwin with three seconds left.

Albertus will return to Celentano Field on March 11 to battle Cairn University. Following that, Mitchell College comes to town on March 16, for the Falcon's first Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game of the season. Last season, Albertus defeated the Mariners, 16-9.

Conference play continues, as Albertus heads north to play Lasell University on March 22. On March 26, Albertus welcomes MCLA, as the Falcons celebrate senior day.

After senior day, the Falcons stay home for two more games, competing against Elms College (March 29), and Dean College (April 1).

Albertus takes a hike on April 5 to New Hampshire to battle New England College. The team returns home for one game on April 9 against Johnson & Wales (RI). They then hit the road again with a trip to Emmanuel College on April 12, and Anna Maria College on April 15.

The Falcons wrap up their season with two final GNAC matchups against Saint Joseph's (Me.) and Saint Joseph (Conn.), on April 19 and April 23, respectively.
