Junior Lindsley Barrett (Shelton, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team has been named the month of October Male Student-Athlete of the Month.
Barrett finished the month of October with four points on one goal and two assists. He registered 18 total shots with six of those shots on goal.
The junior scored the game-winning goal at Western Connecticut State University in a 1-0 Albertus victory and then assisted on the game-winning goals against the United States Coast Guard Academy and Rivier University.
Against Coast Guard, the Falcons' scored the lone goal of the game in the 26th minute as senior Ross Suleski (Amesbury, Mass.) chipped in a shot off of a free kick from Barrett. Against Rivier, Barrett assisted on the game-winning goal in the 20th minute of the Falcons' 3-0 win as Austin Tomin (Hamden, Conn.) scored the goal.
The Falcons will make their 15th-straight and 16th overall appearance in the GNAC Tournament this weekend when they travel to Standish, Maine on Sunday, Nov. 3 for a 1:00 p.m. contest at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.
