The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team defeated host Regis College 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.  The Falcons would score three first half goals to cruise to the eventual 4-0 win.

Freshman forward Matt Stoll (Shelton, Conn.) would finish a Lindsley Barrett (Shelton, Conn.) cross into the box just five minutes into the match to give the Falcons the early 1-0 lead.

Sophomore forward Alexis Garcia (West Haven, Conn.) would add to the scoring in the 18th minute after he won the ball at midfield and was able to beat the keeper one-on-one for the 2-0 lead.  Freshman midfielder Justyn Broderick (Orange, Conn.) chipped a shot over the keeper in the 31st minute to give Albertus a 3-0 lead entering halftime.  Albertus outshot Regis 8-1 in the first half of play.

Broderick would score the final goal of the contest, his second of the match in the second half when he finished Barrett's intial shot off the left post.

The Falcons remain undefeated on the season with a 2-0-1 record while Regis drops to 1-2 on the young season.  Albertus returns to action on Tuesday when they host non-conference opponent Mount Saint Mary's College at 4:00 p.m. on Celentano Field.
