HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons' first goal of the day came off a Tyler Saad (Shelton, Conn.) corner kick in the 22nd minute. Salah Oumorou (West Haven, Conn.) gathered Saad's attempt and deflected the ball to Abdoul Aremu (West Haven, Conn.) in the box, who just drove it past the opposing keeper.

Albertus grew its lead to 2-0 in the 37th minute with an unassisted tally by Oumorou. Oumorou corralled the ball at the 50 after a Chargers' player whiffed on a pass from a teammate, before cashing in on a one-on-one break against the keeper.

Ahead 2-0 at halftime, Oumorou gave the Falcons a 3-0 lead with a goal just after the start of the second stanza. At the 48-minute mark, Oumorou again got the best of the opposing goalie on a one-on-one opportunity, this time scoring to the lower half of the net.

Albertus added goals by Michael Hidalgo (Norwalk, Conn.) and Kevin Morataya (Bridgeport, Conn.) in the 57th and 63rd minutes, respectively, to take a commanding 5-0 advantage. Diogo Cruz (Naugatuck, Conn.) connected with Hidalgo and Peter Rivera (Norwalk, Conn.) hit Morataya with a stellar corner kick to both earn assists.

The Chargers scored twice in the final 18 minutes, but were unable to cut the deficit to below three, 5-2. Garfield Robinson (West Haven, Conn.) started in goal for the Falcons and made three saves to improve to 5-4-1 on the season.
