HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team could get anything going early on in the first stanza despite Albertus outshooting Lasell, 8-3.

Lasell saw two prime opportunities though during the first 10 minutes of play. The Lasers' Johnny Leone witnessed his shot attempt go wide left, while an Edson Silva shot was thwarted away by Brennan.

Two minutes later, Albertus had an opportunity of its own as EJ Gonzalez (Cheshire, Conn.) tried capitalizing on a header, but his shot was deflected out by Lasell's netminder Zack Laware.

The Falcons' backline kept the Lasers at bay for the remainder of the half, while the offense continued to strike. Albertus rattled off six shot attempts, including a shot on goal each from Bobi and Kelvin Cortez (Meriden, Conn.), but Albertus was unable to find the back of the net and the score remained at 0-0 heading into halftime.

After a scoreless first frame, Lasell came out determined and kept the Falcons' netminder on his toes, peppering Brennan with numerous shots.

A goal finally came in the 68th minute as Bobi netted his fourth of the season on a pass from Cortez to give the visitors the 1-0 advantage.  The Falcons iced the bout in the 78th minute when Bobi connected with Miner for the freshman's first-career goal to put the visitors up 2-0.

Over the final 12 minutes, the Lasers tallied one more chance, but it wasn't enough to stop Albertus from picking up the critical GNAC victory.
