NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College men's soccer senior Declan Ryan (Hamden, Conn.) earned a spot in the 2022 annual New England Intercollegiate Soccer League (NEISL) Division III All-Star Game, as announced Thursday afternoon.

The NEISL D3 All-Star Game will feature 43 of the top seniors in the region and will take place on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 1 p.m. at Gordon Field on the campus of Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass.

Ryan has been a staple of the Falcons' backline over his career, starting 42 times over 50 appearances. He ended his tenure with two career points on two assists. In 2022, Ryan recorded one of his two assists and helped the Albertus defense post seven shutouts. He was also instrumental in AMC's defense, holding a stellar 1.26 goals-against average, which ranked sixth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC).

As a team, the Falcons owned an 8-6-4 overall record and a 6-3-3 mark in league play. Albertus earned the No. 5 seed in the GNAC Tournament and lost a double-overtime classic against its cross-town rival, the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).
