NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team lost a 2-0 out-of-conference game to Hunter College on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hunter got on the board in just the third minute as Ben Avakook scored off a pass from Bradley Espejo that he shot into the bottom right corner of the net.
- Albertus had chances shortly after the opening goal as MicWill Adu Asare (East Hartford, Conn.) and Dylan Madera (Norwalk, Conn.) had shots, but were stopped by Hunter goalkeeper, Max Tsigalnitsky. Albertus had another good opportunity in the 39th minute, but a shot from Julius McNeill was stopped off a bounce by Tsigalnitsky. Albertus goalkeeper, Luke Tomas (Stamford, Conn.) stopped two shots in the half.
- Tomas made a great diving save on a point blank shot from Leonardo Kaplan on a Hunter breakaway to keep it a 1-0 game in the 51st minute.
- In the 62nd minute, Albertus had a golden opportunity to score but Tsigalnitsky came out of the box to make a sliding save on a shot from Aiden Coelho (Naugatuck, Conn.).
- In the 84th minute, Hunter scored its second goal of the game as Espejo scored from 30 yards out.
