New Haven, Conn. - David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer was named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for his performance this week.

The junior goalkeeper allowed just one goal in 180 minutes of action this past week, helping the Falcons go 1-0-1. He made five saves in a 1-1 draw against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) and followed it up with a shutout performance, recording two saves in a 1-0 win over Norwich.

Lucero now has a season record of 6-2-3 in 11 starts with four shutouts.

The Falcons are back in action at home on Tuesday, October 15 as they face off against JWU at 7:30 p.m.
