NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Morgan Stone (Wallingford, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team was named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Co-Player of the Week after his performance from October 28-November 3.

Stone was the hero for the Falcons in the 100th minute of the GNAC Quarterfinals as he headed in the game-winning goal to send his team to their first semifinals appearance since 2015 with a 2-1 victory over No. 7 Rivier. The header came off of a corner kick from Johan Stagnaro (East Hartford, Conn.).

Stone shared the GNAC Player of the Week honor with Bruno Texiera of Johnson and Wales (JWU).

The No. 2 Falcons will now host No. 3 JWU on Wednesday, November 6 at 7 p.m. with a spot to the GNAC Championship Game on the line.
