The Albertus Magnus men's tennis team fell to Emerson College 9-0 in Great Northeast Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons fought in three close matches as Tim Gabbard fell to Mitch Lance 6-2, 2-6 and 6-1. Riker Mitchell was edged in No. 4 singles by a score of 7-6 and 11-9 in the tiebreaker.
In second doubles, both Riker and Richard Mitchell battled but fell to Emerson's Landino and Lenan 9-7.
The Falcons return to action on Thursday, April 5 in a 6:00 p.m. match at Saint Joseph's College of Brooklyn.
