The Albertus Magnus men's tennis team fell to Purchase 8-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon in New Haven.

Richard Mitchell (Naugatuck, Conn.) led the Falcons despite the loss as he battled in a 6-2, 6-0 defeat to Purchase's Jeremyah Schur.

Purchase swept the Falcons in all other matches, while fifth singles was halted due to the inclement weather with Purchase's Ben Ekis in the lead at 6-0 in the first set.

Heath Henderson competed in No. 4 singles but fell to Purchase's Michael Sorge by a pair of 6-0 sets.

Albertus returns to action on Saturday, April 14 as the Falcons host Anna Maria in GNAC play.
