The Albertus Magnus men's tennis team defeat CCNY by a score of 7-0 on Sunday afternoon as the Falcons improved to an impressive 3-0 on the year.

Pete Zacharias (North Haven, Conn.) led the Falcons with victories in No. 1 singles as well as No. 1 doubles.  Zacharias defeated Andrew Bregman by scores of 6-1, 6-3 before him and teammate Jeff Pellegrino (Meriden, Conn.) defeated CCNY in No. 1 doubles by a score of 8-4. Pellegrino added a win in No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Brian Chen.

Ross Suleski (Amesbury, Mass) added a win in No. 2 singles, while Mathew Mezzei (Wallingford, Conn.) was victorious in No. 4 singles' play. Dan Constantinidi (North Branford, Conn.) also earned a victory in No. 6 singles with a pair of 6-1 set victories.

Due to only having five players, CCNY forfeited its No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles' matches.

Albertus is scheduled to play on Thursday, April 2 at Becker College in non-conference action.
