PROVIDENCE, R.I.-  The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team opened up their 2021-22 season with a hard-fought 5-4 loss to the Anchormen of Rhode Island College on Sunday morning in non-conference play. 

Seniors Zak Levine (Hamden, Conn.) and Alex Hale (Wolcott, Conn.) each picked up wins for the Falcons, winning both of their singles matches, and then pairing up for a victory at No. 1 doubles. Graduate student Nick Tagliaferri (Hamden, Conn.) also picked up a win for the Falcons at No. 3 singles after defeating Rhode Island's Jack Cadden, 6-4, 6-3.
