Men's Tennis Wraps up Fall Portion of Its Schedule

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team closed out the fall portion of its 2021-22 schedule with a home loss to the Maccabees of Yeshiva University by a score of 6-3. 

Senior Alex Hale (Wolcott, Conn. ) picked up two of the Falcons' three points, winning at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles, along with partner Zak Levine (Hamden, Conn.). Graduate student Nick Tagliaferri (Hamden, Conn.) recorded the Falcons' third and final point behind a No. 3 singles win.

NOTEWORTHY

  • This is the third meeting between the Falcons and Maccabees.
  • Yeshiva extends its all-time series record over Albertus to 3-0.
  • Both Hale and Tagliaferri close out the fall campaign with an undefeated record of 3-0 in singles play.
  • The duo tandem of Levine and Hale are also undefeated posting a fall record of 3-0.
