NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team tallied a pair of victories in the 7-2 loss against non-conference opponent Western Connecticut State University on Sunday.

After the Wolves notched the first two doubles matches, Spencer Silver (North Wales, Pa.) and Caden Pattison swept WestConn at number three partners play to cut the deficit to 2-1. Eric Chamandy (Montreal, Québec) nabbed the first set 6-1 in the third spot of solo action before WCSU evened the match in the following set, but the first-year battled a hard-fought 12-10 third-set loss. At No. 6 singles, Gustav Müller (Hudiksvall, Sweden) outlasted the Wolves in a 6-3, 7-5 decision.
