The Albertus Magnus men's volleyball team won its sixth-straight match with a 3-0 victory over Sarah Lawrence on Sunday afternoon. Led by 12 kills from Brendan Charamut (Southington, Conn.), the Falcons cruised to the three-set victory with scores of 25-13, 25-9, and 25-19.
In today's first match of the day, Carlos Torres (Adjuntas, Puerto Rico) dished out 33 assists, while adding three digs and five service aces.
Douglas DeSousa (Danbury, Conn.) led the Falcons with four digs.
The Falcons registered double-digit kills in each set led by a 17-kill effort in the final set of the match.
After cruising to a 25-13 first-set win then a 25-9 second-set victory, Sarah Lawrence opened the third set with a 5-0 run. Albertus was able to tie the game at 10 before jumping out to a 15-13 lead. The Falcons, eventually, took control of the set and went on to with 25-19.
