After dropping a 25-22 decision in the first set, the Falcons bounced back to take a dominating second-set 25-16 victory. In that set, Chase Brinton (Bethany, Conn.) contributed with five kills in eight attempts for the Falcons. Albertus won the third set 26-24 before falling in the fourth 25-23.

Both teams batted in the final set as they went back-and-forth until the frame was tied at 14. A kill by Johnson followed by an attacking error by Brooklyn's David Dimitruk ended the match for the Falcons and gave Albertus the match victory.
