Despite a career-high 30 points from Lindsay Karle (Wallingford, Conn.) and 22 points from Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.), the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team suffered its first loss of the 2012-13 season with a 77-68 defeat at Conn College.

With the loss, the Falcons fall to 7-1 on the year, while the Camels improve to 3-4 overall.

Kacie Quick led the Camels with a team-high 17 points, while Tara Gabelman added 15 points.

With 4:22 left in the contest, Quick hit a three pointer to give the Camels a 65-63 lead before her team connected on some key free throws down the stretch to secure the non-conference victory.

Annie Raucci (Milford, Conn.) added nine points for the Falcons.

Albertus will return to action on Tuesday, Dec. 11 when the Falcons host Springfield College in New Haven. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
