Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's basketball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

 

Carrero and the Falcons went 2-0 on the week as the senior averaged 28 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.  She also averaged 36 minutes per game.

 

Carrero shot 32.6% from the field and shot 38.9% from behind the arc.  She also shot 87.5% from the charity stripe to lead the way.

 

Currently, Carrero leads the GNAC with a 25.6 points per game average.
