Balanced Attack Leads Women's Basketball Past JWU on Senior Night, 78-45

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Behind a dominant defensive performance, the Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team won its 11th consecutive game with a 78-45 home win over the Wildcats of Johnson & Wales (RI) University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Sunday afternoon. 

On the offensive end of the court, freshman Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) paced all players with 22 points. Sophomore Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.) also had a stellar day with 14 points, while Carsyn Langhorn (Norwalk, Conn.) poured in 12 points off the bench.

Prior to tip-off, the women's basketball team honored its lone senior - Katherine Raposo (Warwick, R.I.) - for her hard work and dedication to the program over her two-year stint with the Falcons.

First Half:
