Women's Basketball Appears in First Set of Regional Rankings

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team has earned a spot in the first set of NCAA Division III Regional Rankings, as announced by the Regional Advisory Committee on Wednesday evening.

The initial rankings are in alphabetical order and represent the teams that the NCAA Division III women's basketball committee considers to be the best in each region. The first true regional rankings will be released next week.

Among the Falcons (19-2), Amherst College (15-7), Bridgewater State University (17-5), Framingham State University (14-5), Trinity College (CT) (20-2), Tufts University (16-6), and Williams College (16-7) made up the initial list of ranked teams in Region 1.

Albertus women's basketball returns to the court on Saturday, February 11 as the Falcons take on Regis (Mass.) College in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) road tilt scheduled for 1pm.
