NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Diamond White (Hamden, Conn.) scored a career-high 30 points, Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) had a double-double and Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.) moved up to third all-time in program history in scoring as the Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team defeated Baruch, 85-70 on Tuesday evening.
Murray-Leach – who moved up to seventh all-time in scoring history with 1,469 points - scored 19 with 16 rebounds and eight assists. Scott scored 14 points, giving her 1,601 points in her career, surpassing Shyla Osmond (1,590) in all-time scoring at Albertus.
Ava Johnson (North Haven, Conn.) finished with nine points and 12 rebounds. Amanda Zdru (Stratford, Conn.) scored six points with four rebounds and three assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams matched three-pointers to kick off the game as Baruch's Elissa Leung hit one before White answered with one to make it a 3-3 game. After Baruch scored on the next possession, the Falcons rattled off the next eight points, as Johnson, Scott, White and Zdru all contributed on the run.
- Baruch scored the next seven points to briefly take the lead back, but a three from White followed by a fastbreak layup from Murray-Leach off of a rebound and assist from White put Albertus up, 16-12. Murray-Leach and White each hit a three back-to-back in the final 1:36 as the Falcons took a 26-15 lead after the first quarter.
- The teams swapped the first ten points of the second quarter as Scott scored the first five for the Falcons as they led 31-20 at the 8:51 mark. After Elissa Leung trimmed the Albertus lead to 31-24, the Falcons scored 13 straight points on three three-pointers from White bookended by layups from Murray-Leach and Elizabeth Bruno (Providence, R.I.) to take a 44-24 lead with 4:18 left in the first half. Albertus led 47-32 at the half. The Falcons went 4-for-6 from three in the quarter.
- Halfway through the third quarter, the Falcons took a 60-40 lead behind five points from Scott and four from Zdru. White gave the Falcons their biggest lead of the game on a layup with 1:39 left in the third to make it a 68-44 game. Albertus led 69-48 heading into the fourth.
- Albertus maintained its lead throughout the fourth, and were never threatened as Baruch did not get any closer than 15 points the rest of the way. White scored six points in the final quarter while Johnson had five.

Albertus has now won the last two meetings against Baruch.
The Falcons had a season-high in points (85), rebounds (52) and assists (25) and shot a season-best 42.3 percent from the field.
Albertus outscored Baruch in fastbreak points (23-22), points in the paint (42-26) and second-chance points (18-5).
