
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Caitlyn Scott (White Plains, N.Y.) and Jakara Murray-Leach (Norwalk, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's basketball team were both named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll for their performances this past week.
Scott scored 33 points against Anna Maria and registered her 2,000th career point in the process. She followed up 27 points, five rebounds, and six steals in a senior day victory over Regis and broke the all-time program scoring mark. She now has 2,042 points in her career and is currently top ten in the nation in scoring.
Murray-Leach averaged 14 points and 13 rebounds a game with four blocks a game in a 1-1 week. The senior secured her 10th double-double in the win over Regis with 19 points and 16 rebounds while also adding seven blocks and four steals.
The Falcons wrap up the regular season on the road at NEC on Saturday for a 1:30 p.m. tip.
