WARWICK, R.I. - Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's golf team won the Rhode Island College Women's Spring Invitational on Thursday at the par 72 Valley Country Club.
Martin shot a 15-over par 87, which was 16 strokes ahead of second place Mya Linchitz of RIC.
Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) placed third with a 36-over par 108. Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) finished five strokes behind Dellacroce.
Martin shot a 10-over par 46 on the front nine, including one par. She shot a 41 on the back nine, which included a birdie on the final hole.
