COLEMAR, Pa. - The Albertus Magnus College women's team fell to the Knights of Arcadia University, 6-4, on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Knights struck offensively first at the 5-minute mark, but the Falcons were able to retaliate just three minutes later as Ariana Martin (Hamden, Conn.) scored from a pass by Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.). The score was one-all entering into the second period.

Arcadia dominated the second period, tallying three power-play goals within the first 13 minutes from 18 shots on goal. Albertus goaltender Christmas Johnson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) made 15 saves to keep the Falcons in the game.

The Falcons entered the third period with two back-to-back goals to come within one of the Knights, 4-3. At the 5:05 mark, Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) assisted M. Martin for her second career-goal. Just three minutes later, Maddy Gootjes (Quispamsis, New Brunswick) took advantage of a power-play situation and scored from a pass by Briony Retasket (Beaverton, Ore.). 

Arcadia pushed the game to find two goals for a 6-3 lead before Moira O'Brien (Wilbraham, Ma.) put one last goal in for Albertus at the 18:29 minute mark.
