BOXSCORE
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Falcons found the early goal at the 5:48 minute mark on a power play advantage. Walsh fed a pass into Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) who then took a shot to deflect off the Herons' goaltender, Erin Murray, to the back post. Walsh skated in to tap the puck in for a 1-0 lead. Despite the Herons having a 11-4 advantage in shots, the Albertus defense pushed to blank William Smith in the first period.

William Smith kicked off the third period with a goal at the 8:55 minute mark during a power play advantage for a 3-1 lead, but the Falcons were able to take one back at the 12:30 mark. During an Albertus power play, M. Martin backhanded a pass to Dellacroce to set her up for a shot from distance that made its way through the crowd of defenders to score.
