NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team fell to the Herons of William Smith College on Saturday afternoon, 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Herons found the early goal, scoring at the 8:38 minute mark from Sarah Hearns, and then doubled their lead at 13:48 with a goal from Grace Romero. The Falcons took two shots during the first period, but were unable to score. 

William Smith had a dominant second period, scoring six unanswered goals. The Falcons took one shot compared to the Herons' 17 commanding shots during the period.

William Smith was able to put one final goal in during the third period off of 12 shots. The Falcons increased their offensive opportunities with five shots, but were unable to put one between the pipes.
