NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team lost a 4-2 game to Anna Maria College on the backend of a home-and-home series on Saturday evening at Ralph Walker Ice Rink.
Both Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) and Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) each had a goal and an assist on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The AMCATS got on the board at the 15:36 mark on a 5-on-3 when Shayla McDonald found Julia Ballinger who took a shot from the right faceoff circle that got by Albertus goaltender, Christmas Johnson (Winnipeg, Manitoba) to make it a 1-0 game.
- Just 51 seconds into the second period, Jordyn Bleaney added a goal for Anna Maria as she stole the puck from behind the Albertus net and stuffed it in to make it a 2-0 game.
- Albertus got on the board at the 14:55 mark of the second period on a power play as Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) found Clark off the left side of the net. Clark would rip the puck past Anna Maria goaltender Sam Dahill to make it a 2-1 game.
- Kourtney Mielke added a goal on a power play for Anna Maria at 9:59 in the third.
- Martin, who assisted on Clark's goal, got into the scoring action herself at the 14:25 mark to make it a 3-2 game. On the power play goal, Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) found Martin, who beat a defender and found herself between both faceoff circles. She fired a shot past Dahill to make it a one goal game.
- However, the Amcats added one more goal two minutes later by Ceili Nolan on the power play for the final tally of the game.

- Isabella Contreras (Surprise, Az.) won eight of her 13 faceoff battles. Madeline Sheffield (Ballston Spa, N.Y.) went 9-7 in her faceoffs.
- Martin has now scored a goal in her last four games. She has seven points in that same span.
- Clark has scored a goal in three straight games and has eight points in her last five games.
