
RUTLAND, Vt. — The Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team lost, 12-3, to New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) foe Vermont State Castleton on Friday at Spartan Arena.
Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) had two goals for Albertus.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Castleton got on the board 44 seconds into the first period on a goal from Moa Carlsson.
- Walsh scored the equalizer at 14:16 on a power play in the first period off the sticks of Isabella Contreras (Surprise, Az.) and Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.).
- The home team connected for six straight goals through the first two periods before Walsh notched her second goal of the night off the assist by Kendall Conley (Trumbull, Conn.) with less than six minutes remaining in the second period.
- The home team tacked on two more goals to close out the second, followed by an unassisted tally by Martin with less than 30 seconds remaining.
- Castleton added a trio of goals in the final period for the NEHC win.
