
NORTHFIELD, Vt. — The No. 8 seed Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey fell to the top-seed Norwich University in the New England Hockey Conference quarterfinals on the road on Saturday.
Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) netted the lone goal for the Falcons' in the second period with Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) and Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) with the assists.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Norwich took a 3-0 lead in the first period with goals by Jenna Nickles, Taylor Girouard and Anna Lisac.
- The home team continued to pad the lead with three more goals in the second period, including a power-play goal for the 6-0 lead at 15:34.
- Twelve seconds later, Walsh netted Albertus' only goal off the night. Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) won the faceoff for the visitors, and quickly sent it to Dellacroce at the top of the blueline who passed to Martin before the quick tip-in goal by Walsh at 15:46 in the second period.
