Emmanuel answered with the following two goals before Albertus followed with back-to-back strikes. Katherine Raposo (Warwick, R.I.) scored both goals for AMC, the first being a free-position attempt. The Saints ended the first with a goal at the 2:55 mark to tie the game at three goals apiece.

Albertus scored the first two goals of the second quarter to storm ahead 5-3 through 2:20 in the frame. Bridget Rosikiewicz (Naugatuck, Conn.) hit the first goal on a pass from Barrett before Keegan Riccio (West Haven, Conn.) scored next on her own pass from Barrett.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, the Saints ended the second on an 8-0 run to build an 11-5 halftime lead.

Albertus came out of the break and ended EC's run with a Raposo goal to make it an 11-6 game 2:03 into the half. Raposo's goal was the last for AMC in the game, as the Saints added 10 more tallies to their score to pick up the 21-6 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) win.
