BOX SCORE

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Wildcats controlled the action in the first quarter, scoring all nine of the goals in the frame to go ahead 9-0 heading into the second.

Albertus kicked off the second quarter with a goal from Raposo at the 3:59 mark. After a defensive start to the frame that saw no scoring through the first 11:01, Mandulak found a driving Raposo after a clear, which allowed the senior to spin and fire a goal to the keeper's right side.

Johnson & Wales answered with the following four goals to build a 13-1 advantage by the 3:13 mark of the third period.

The Falcons did not quit, however, as they ended the game by scoring four of the final five goals to cut the deficit to single digits, 14-5. The first goal came from Raposo, who capitalized on a clear attempt by driving to the crease and scoring off of a Barrett pass. Raposo's goal was the last of the third period, as AMC went into the fourth trailing 13-2.

Raposo quickly found the back of the net again at the beginning of the fourth quarter, making it a 13-3 game 11 seconds into the frame. The senior caught a pass right in front of the crease before quickly turning and burying a back-handed shot on a man-up opportunity.

Following a JWU tally, Barrett scored her first of the day with 9:13 left in the game. Riccio set up the goal with a swift pass to Barrett in the arc, where she quick-sticked a shot into the top-left corner of the cage. Barrett scored again with 3:32 remaining on a free-position attempt to ice the game's final score at 14-5.
