NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team lost a 23-1 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game to the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on Saturday afternoon at Celentano Field.
Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Jays scored nine straight goals in the first period to lead 9-0 after the first 15 minutes as Anna LeGault scored five times including the first goal at 13:55 and the final with one second remaining in the period. Maya Tomko scored twice for USJ.
- With Albertus trailing 13-0 in the second period, Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) scored her eighth goal of the season to make it a 13-1 game with 5:05 left in the half. The Blue Jays went up 14-1 at the half as Ashley Rufo scored three times in the period.
- USJ scored all nine goals in the second half as six different players scored including two by Rufo, Reagan Buscetto and Lauryn WIlks.
