Women's Lacrosse Picked Seventh In South In GNAC Preseason Poll

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team was picked to finish seventh in the south South Division in the 2025 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Falcons received 25 voting points.

Defending GNAC Champion Johnson and Wales was once again picked to with the division with 128 voting points and 16 first place votes. University of Saint Joseph was picked second with 109 voting points and Regis, third, with 92 voting points.

Lasell (83 voting points), Elms (61), Dean (54) rounded out spots 4-6. Mitchell finished a point behind Albertus and picked eighth.

In the North Division, Emmanuel - last season's runner-up was picked first with 124 voting points and 13 first-place votes. Saint Joseph's College (Maine) was picked second with 99 voting points and one first-place vote. Colby-Sawyer was picked third with 94 voting points and Simmons was picked fourth with 82 voting points and the remaining two first-place votes.

Norwich (73 voting points), Rivier (48), New England College (36) and Anna Maria (20) rounded out the final four spots.

The Falcons open up their at home against Salem State on February 26 at 6 p.m.
