HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Less than five minutes into the opening quarter, G. Montano connected for the unassisted tally to put the Falcons up, 1-0, at 9:28 in the period. The first-year's goal was setup by a caused turnover and groundball by Sarah Hoffman (Springfield, Va.).
  • Elms scored three goals in the first as Jackie Cronin delivered two back-to-back, including a player-down goal and Greta Frankwicz netted a free position shot with 34 seconds remaining.

After a shot by the hosts ricocheted off the post, Moira O'Brien (Wilbraham, Mass.) scooped up the groundball followed by a successful clear for Albertus which lead to the goal.
  • In the third period, the hosts notched four goals but Signor capitalized on the shorthanded Blazers for a player-up goal at 3:23 with the assist from DeJonge.
