New Haven, CT - On Wednesday afternoon, the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team won its first Great Northeast Athletic Conference game of the season by a score of 1-0.  Through the steady rain and cold wind, both teams battled through tough playing conditions.  The Lady Falcons struck first in the 20^th minute DJ Figueroa (Bridgeport, CT) struck the cross bar narrowly missing a goal in the first half.  The Lady Falcons scored on an own goal that was scored on a cross from forward Krystal Quinones (Bridgeport, CT) off the head of the opponent  in the 55^th minute of play.  The Lady Falcons improve to 3-1-0, 1-1-0 GNAC this season and travel to GNAC opponent Rivier College (Nashua, NH) on Saturday for a 2:30pm kick-off.  St. Joseph's College (CT) drops to 1-3-0, 0-1-0 GNAC this season.
