New Haven, CT - On Saturday afternoon the Lady Falcons dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting Coast Guard Academy.  After a scoreless first half, Coast Guard Academy found the back of the net in the 68th minute off the head of junior forward Brittany Fifer (Camp Lejeune, NC) on a cross from freshman forward Rachel Deschen (Palm Harbor, FL).  Albertus outshot Coast Guard 9-6 on the afternoon but couldnt find the back of the net.  Albertus freshman goalkeeper Christina Dineson (Milford, CT) and Coast Guard junior goalkeeper Mary Mills (St. Louis, MO) each had four saves on the afternoon.  Albertus Magnus drops to 0-2, 0-0 GNAC while Coast Guard improves to 1-1, 0-0 NEWMAC on the young season.  The Lady Falcons look to rebound on Monday as they host Bay Path College on Celentano Field at 1:00 pm.
