New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College soccer freshman Amanda Roke (Chesire, CT/Chesire) was recently featured in The Cheshire Herald as she continues an outstanding rookie campaign.  The Falcons are 7-2 overall including a 4-0 record in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.  The Falcons are in the midst of a program record seven-game winning streak that continued this past Wednesday when Albertus defeated GNAC opponent Pine Manor, 4-0.

In nine games this season, Roke is currently tied for second on the team in assists (3) and total points (9) while being third in goals (3).  During an 8-0 win over Bay Path on September 6, Roke had a goal and two assists, for a career high four points while netting the game-winner.

Albertus Magnus returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 25 when the Falcons travel to Boston, MA to take on GNAC opponent Emerson College at 3:00 pm.
