Six Falcons scored as the Albertus Magnus women's soccer team blanked Anna Maria 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon in GNAC action. With the victory, the Falcons have set a program record with 11 wins in a single-season.

Albertus improves to 11-4 on the year and 9-3 in the GNAC as the AMCats fall to 0-15 overall and 0-10 in league play. Today's victory also marks the Falcons' fourth-straight.

Christina Dineson (Milford, Conn.) registered the shutout, her fourth of the season, as she faced one shot and made the save.

The first goal of the contest, which was the eventual game winner, was scored by Meaghan Skidmore (Terryville, Conn.) in the fifth minute of play. Kelly Marchitto (West Haven, Conn.) sent the ball towards Skidmore who found the back of the net to score her fourth goal of the year.

Skidmore added an assist on the Falcons' second goal of the afternoon as she fed a ball into the middle of the box where senior Krystal Quinones (Bridgeport, Conn.) sent it past Anna Maria's diving keeper. Two minutes later, in the ninth minute of action, Meghan Loughman (Trumbull, Conn.) tallied her second goal of the year with an unassisted shot after she intercepted an AMCat clear out of the box.

The final goal of the first half was scored by Shelley Mirmina (Milford, Conn.) in the 27th minute as Victoria Rodriguez (Coventry, R.I.) found Mirmina, who drilled her shot from 18 yards out.

Quinones scored her second goal of the contest in the 50th minute as Sarah DiCenzo (Wallingford, Conn.) crossed the ball into the box where Quinones chipped the ball just over the keeper. Sophomore Gabrielle Roberts (Plymouth, Conn.) scored her first goal of the season in the 83rd minute as she broke away one-on-one with a defender then beat the keeper, extending the Falcons lead to 6-0.

Rodriguez tallied the Falcons' final goal of the contest as Jessica Radecki (Milford, Conn.) found the junior in the center of the box before she scored her first goal of the season.

Albertus outshot the AMCats 28-2 on the afternoon as Anna Maria took one shot in each half. Amanda Hevy took the loss in net for the AMCats as she made seven saves.

The Falcons will host Lasell at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 for their final regular-season game on Celentano Field.
