Senior Danielle Figueroa (Bridgeport, Conn.) scored the game-winning goal and tallied an assist to tie the Albertus Magnus women's soccer program record in points with 75.  With her performance on Monday, she led her Falcons to a 2-0 win over Suffolk in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play.

With the victory, the Falcons improved to 10-2-2 on the year as Albertus has won four-straight contests and now has its third-straight 10-win season.

Figueroa scored in the eighth minute to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead as the goal was her fifth of the season. Her assist, in the 60th minute of play, put her into the tie with Sam Gigliotti (2007-10) as they both own the all-time record with 75 career points. In the Falcons' last home match, Figueroa surpassed Gigliotti to become the Falcons' all-time assists' leader. After today's match, she has 15 in her career, while she is just one goal away from tying Gigliotti with the most goals in program history as the former Falcon finished her career with 31.

Against Suffolk, the Falcons held a 35-9 shots advantage in the contest, including a 16-1 clip in the opening frame. Shelley Mirmina (Milford, Conn.) led the Falcons with 14 shots, while Figueroa registered six. Mirmina also assisted on Figueroa's game winner for her third helper of the season.

Amanda Roke (Cheshire, Conn.) scored her sixth goal of the season in the 60th minute as she finished on a cross into the box by Figueroa.

Albertus keeper Christina Dineson (Milford, Conn.) picked up four saves on the afternoon in her fifth shutout of the season. Suffolk keeper, Melissa Brouillette, made 13 stops for the Rams in 90 minutes of work.
