Sophomore goalkeeper Maria Case (West Haven, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus women's soccer team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper of the Week.

Case, who has earned the honor twice this season, earned her eighth shutout of the season last week, continuing her run as the program's all-time leader in shutouts in a single season.

The sophomore tallied eight saves in a 1-0 win over Johnson & Wales (R.I.) on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and then recorded eight more saves in a 2-1 loss at Emmanuel College.

On the year, she has registered 101 saves in 18 games played.
