Freshman Shannon Murphy (Hamden, Conn.) has been named to the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Murphy and the Falcons finished the season with an 11-8-1 overall record as well as a GNAC Tournament semifinal appearance.

Murphy tallied four points on the year with one goal and two assists as her lone goal came in her first collegiate appearance back on August 30 in a 2-1 loss at Worcester State.  Her assists came in back-to-back victories over Norwich University and Mitchell College on Sept. 13 and 17, respectively.
