New Haven, Conn. – For the third consecutive year, the Albertus Magnus College women’s soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year. To qualify, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) to be eligible.
During the year, the Falcons posted a 3.16 team GPA and placed eight student-athletes on the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic Team thanks to their stellar work in the classroom.
A total of 873 Division I, II and III college soccer programs received the prestigious award, including 562 women's programs.
