WINTHROP, Mass. – Albertus Magnus College women's soccer junior Keegan Riccio (West Haven, Conn.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference office on Monday.

Riccio guided the Falcons to a 2-0 week with victories over Lasell University and Colby-Sawyer College, collecting five points on one goal and three assists. The midfielder played a role in every score in the win over the Lasers, assisting on the first two tallies before netting the game-winner with just 2:28 to play in regulation to hand Lasell its first GNAC loss of the season. She followed that performance up with an assist on the first goal of AMC's 2-0 victory over Colby-Sawyer. 

On the season, Riccio has accumulated 10 points on two goals and six assists, currently ranking third in GNAC in assists.

After picking up a pair of victories last week, Albertus owns a 7-4 overall record and stands at 5-3 in league play.

On Tuesday, Oct. 12, the Falcons return to action with a crucial road GNAC showdown against the Blue Jays of the University of Saint Joseph (CT). Game time is set for 4:00 PM on the West Hartford, Conn., campus.
