WINTHROP, Mass. - For the second time this season, Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team earned both Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Goalkeeper and Rookie of the Week honors, as announced Monday afternoon. 

Stevens went a perfect 2-0 last week between the pipes for the Falcons, earning GNAC wins over Anna Maria College and Simmons University. The rookie keeper tallied nine saves over 157:08 minutes with zero goals allowed and one shutout. Stevens first recorded six saves over 67:08 to earn a home win over the AMCATS on Wednesday afternoon. She then picked up her second complete-game shutout of the season by making three saves in AMC's 1-0 road triumph over the Sharks on Saturday. 

The women's soccer team continues its road trip with a bout against the Saints of Emmanual (Mass.) College on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. at Roberto Clemente Field in Boston, Mass.
