NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
It is the second time in her career that Stevens was named to the team.
The 2024 Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender. Selection to the team was contingent on student-athletes appearing in at least 90 percent of their teams' games and hosting a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50-or-higher.
This season, Stevens - a mathematics major - finished with a career-high 10 wins in net with 54 saves, .750 save percentage and a career-best 1.07 goals against average.
Stevens was also selected to be on the CSC Academic All-America ballot as a finalist. The Academic All-America teams will be announced on December 11.
