NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ejalam Bravo (New Britain, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team was named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's All Region 1 Third Team.
Bravo, a junior, finished the season with a career-high five goals to go with two assists, and matched her career-high with 12 points on the season.
She had two game-winning goals on the season, including a dramatic goal in the 84th minute to lift the Falcons to a 2-1 win over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) on October 29 at Celentano Field.
In a game 3-0 win at home against Mitchell, Bravo scored two goals. It was her first two-goal game of her career.
It is the second postseason honor for Bravo, who was earlier named to the All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Second Team.
Bravo is the first member of the women's soccer team to be named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region team since Haley Andrews did so in 2022.
