RICHMOND, Va.- The Albertus Magnus College women's swimming and diving team earned Scholar All-American honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently for its efforts in the classroom during the 2020 spring semester.

To earn the honor, teams must post a 3.0 GPA or higher for the spring semester. Albertus, in its inaugural collegiate season under the direction of head coach Lauren Pallone, recorded a team GPA of 3.56 in the spring semester after posting a fall semester GPA of 3.17. Albertus Magnus was one of 461 schools to receive the award for the spring semester.

"No team was unaffected by this Spring's pandemic," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart, "but Athletic Director Jim Abromaitis and President Marc Camille can and should be proud of their teams and the work of (head coach) Lauren Pallone."
