Women's Swimming & Diving Wraps Up GNAC's with Seventh Place Finish

FINAL RESULTS

WELLESLEY, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College women's swimming & diving team concluded the 2023 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships on Sunday afternoon at  the Boston Sports Institute. The Falcons finished the three-day championship with a team score of 239 to place seventh overall out of eight teams.

DAY 3 FINAL RESULTS (2/5)

100-Yard Freestyle

  • Ana Lucia Gutierrez Gomez (Sonora, Mexico) recorded a ninth in the first finals event of the day with a time of 57.94 seconds.
  • Followed closely behind Gutierrez Gomez was Megan Anderson (Levittown, N.Y.), who posted a 10th finish behind a time of 59.05 seconds.
  • Chloe Oliver (Milford, Conn.) finished in 16th following a time of 1:06.12.

50-yard Breaststroke

  • In her second finals event of the day, Anderson registered a sixth finish after hitting the wall with a time of 36.66 seconds. 

1650-Yard Freestyle

  • Sophie Olander (Amston, Conn.) claimed sixth in the 1650-yard freestyle behind a time of 21:51.36.

100-Yard Backstroke

  • Oliver concluded her day with an 11th place finish with a time of 1:17.41.
  • Crisnelly Martinez-Tejeda (Stratford, Conn.) posted a 12th-place finish behind a time of 2:04.30.
