WESTON, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's and women's swimming teams fell to Regis in a dual meet on Friday evening. Regis won the over match, 173-67.
In the women's events, Regis won, 113-55. In the men's, Regis won, 60-12.
The women's 200 yard freestyle team of Sophie Olander (Amston, Mass.), Chloe Oliver (Milford, Conn.), Olivia Rocheleau (Hamilton, OH.) and Maria Estrada (Guatemala City, Guatemala) won its race with a time of 2:03.03, a full second ahead of Regis.
Estrada won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 28.62. Olander was third with a time of 30.96 and Oliver, fourth with a time of 34.38. Estrada also finised third in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:04.98.
Rocheleau was second in the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 2:23.91. She was also second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:27.62.
Brittany Yarrow (Stamford, Conn.) finished in second in the 50 yard breaststroke with a time of 45.51.
On the men's side, Malachi Blatchley (Hamden, Conn.) finished second in the 200 yard freestyle (2:03.64), 100 yard butterfly (1:02.14) and 50-yard freestly (26.53).
